Administrator's Welcome

WELCOME Dawan Williams

After a comprehensive search and interview process, we are pleased to announce that Dawan Williams has been appointed to the position of Supervisor of Student Support Services and Principal of the West Bloomfield Transition Center (WBTC). 

Dawan currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Special Education: Cross Categorical with an emphasis in Emotional Impairments and Learning Disabilities from Grand Canyon University.  She also holds two Post Masters Certificates in Special Education Administration/ K-12 Administrative from Grand Valley State University and Applied Behavior Analysis from Wayne State University. 

Dawan began her teaching career in 2009 as a substitute teacher in a special education classroom and has held the following positions prior to coming to West Bloomfield: paraprofessional, resource room teacher, Special Education Lead Teacher and Assistant Director of Special Education.
