WELCOME ANDIE BRIOLAT
After a comprehensive search and interview process, we are pleased to announce that Andrea “Andie” Briolat has been appointed to the position of Supervisor of Student Support Services and Principal of the West Bloomfield Transition Center (WBTC).
Andie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University in 2008 and a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Emotional Impairments from Oakland University in 2012. She is currently in the process of earning her Special Education Administration and K-12 Administrative certificates from Grand Valley State University.
Andie began her teaching career in 2008 and was a general education math and science teacher, K-12 self-contained teacher, and teacher consultant, before coming to the WBSD in 2018. She joined WBSD as an IEP facilitator and has held the role of special education compliance coach for the past two years.
