Our Staff

I have been teaching since 2004. I was a high school principal, assistant principal, and counselor. I was also a high school and middle school teacher.

I graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor's and masters in education and counseling.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.

Welcome to WBMS!

My career in West Bloomfield began in 1996. Over the years, I've taught Kindergarten, Grades 1, 2, and 3 for 20 years before transitioning to the iCenter as a Media Specialist in 2016. I also served as the Media Specialist at WBMS for two years.

I'm certified in grades K-8, as well as early childhood and educational technology. I hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from Western Michigan University, a master’s degree in teaching from Marygrove College, and a second master’s degree in educational technology from Lawrence Technological University.

You may recognize me from my leadership experience in the WBSD FIRST Robotics & Lego League programs.

When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family. I have two boys who are actively involved in basketball and baseball. We enjoy traveling, downhill skiing, golfing and we especially love hanging out at the beach! I love taking photographs and I always enjoy reading a good book!
