Welcome to West Bloomfield Middle School!

I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children. I—along with my staff—will accomplish this by setting high academic expectations for all children and providing support systems to ensure they are met. We will address school culture through our Culture and Climate Committee, student assemblies and house meetings, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). We will set high standards for teacher performance and continue to find ways to engage our surrounding community. It is our goal at West Bloomfield Middle School that all students achieve their highest potential.

Middle school is a vital bridge between elementary school and high school. It is also a period when young people, often for the first time in their lives, begin actively seeking a sense of purpose and place. It is our job to provide them with these opportunities, while also keeping them engaged, challenged and supported. Our children are gifts with limitless potential. Through the efforts of our entire school community, we can help them to develop their own unique skills and talents and prepare them for continued success far beyond their early adolescent years.
