WBHS Open House - IN PERSON

Wednesday, September 7th

6:30 PM - 8:10 PM

See what it's like to be back in high school, walk your child's schedule, meet their teachers, hear an overview of each of their classes. 

1st Hour: 6:30-6:40

2nd Hour: 6:45-6:55

3rd Hour: 7:00-7:10

4th Hour: 7:15-7:25

5th Hour: 7:30-7:40

6th Hour: 7:45-7:55

7th Hour: 8:00-8:10

1. Parents will visit all 7 classes, at 10 minutes per class.
2. Teachers will introduce themselves, their syllabi, and will share about their classroom environments and expectations.
3. OSTC, Michigan Virtual, Dual Enrollment, and Edgenuity will NOT be a part of Open House

During Jump Start students will have their school pictures taken, get their student IDs, return books/pay fines, (students cannot pick up class schedules until outstanding fines are paid) check out available clubs, purchase family athletic passes, yearbook and parking passes, and pick up your class schedule!

Freshman Day is an event for the incoming 9th grade students, they should plan to attend from the beginning of Freshman Orientation through Jump Start. At orientation students will meet with their mentors and engage in group activities to help them to meet other students and acclimate themselves to WBHS. Parents should plan to attend only the short Parent Information Session, this will give you a chance to hear all about what WBHS has to offer, meet the staff, and to have your questions answered. This will be followed by Cookies in the Courtyard and then Freshman Jump Start.

• Senior Jump Start: 8:00 AM-10:30 AM

• Junior Jump Start: 12:00 PM-2:30 PM

August 18th, 2022 (Sophomores)

• Sophomore Jump Start: 8:00 AM-10:30 AM

August 19th, 2022 (Freshman Day)

FRESHMAN DAY/Freshman Jump Start (9th Grade)

• Last names A-L

  • Freshman Orientation: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM (students only)

  • Parent information session: 10:00 AM

  • Cookies in the Courtyard: 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM

  • Jump Start: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

• Last names M-Z

  • Freshman Orientation: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM (students only)

  • Parent information session: 1:30 PM

  • Cookies in the Courtyard: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM

  • Jump Start: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
