Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Roosevelt Elementary! As Interim Principal, I am honored to have the opportunity
to share the K-5 experience with your student. At Roosevelt, we are all part of the P.A.C.K where
students, staff and community members work together to celebrate Pride, Accountability,
Community, and Kindness in all aspects of the educational setting.

I have worked in public education since 1991. I began my career as a classroom teacher in
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, and I taught a variety of grade levels. I earned my
Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and I began my first principalship in Wayne-
Westland Community Schools. From there, I served as an Elementary Principal in Walled Lake
Consolidated Schools. I retired from Walled Lake in 2016 and have had several opportunities to
serve in the role as Interim Principal in various school buildings.

I am very excited to be part of the rich tradition already established at Roosevelt, and to partner
with you and our team of educators, for all students to be successful in a positive academic
environment.
