Title IX

Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination based on sex education programs and activities in federally funded schools at all levels.

The West Bloomfield School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, race, or national origins - in all aspects of our educational programs and activities for students and employees.  The district also protects students and employees from sexual harassment.  West Bloomfield School District has appointed Title IX Coordinators to comply and carry out their responsibilities, including training and education, under Title IX.

If you have a question, concern or complaint about possible sexual discrimination, contact one or both of our Title IX Coordinators.  Our Title IX Coordinators can provide you information about the grievance procedure, and investigate the complaint ensuring that complaints are resolved promptly and appropriately. Additionally, you can click here for a copy of the Report of Harassment form. Please return this form to one of our Title IX Coordinators.
