Counseling

The mission of the Orchard Lake Middle School counseling department is to provide a comprehensive counseling program addressing academic achievement, college/career readiness, and the personal/social development of all students.  School counselors advocate for the equity, access, and success of all students, while providing support to maximize student potential and academic achievement.  Counselors work in partnership with other educators, parents and the community to ensure students are prepared with the knowledge and skills to be their best in and for the world.

The Orchard Lake Middle School Counseling Department’s mission statement complements the Orchard Lake Middle School mission statement:

The mission of Orchard Lake Middle School is “To guarantee academic and social learning for our school community.”

The mission of West Bloomfield School District is “Educating students to be their best IN and FOR the world.”
