ONline coursework

Students can complete all coursework online,
or join an in-person cohort three days a week.

Certified teachers provide dedicated learning support to every student, through regular online and in-person assessment.

High School Diploma

This is not a GED program. Graduate on your time with a certified diploma from West Bloomfield School District, and earn your opportunity to walk across the stage at graduation.

Getting Started

The Laker Opportunity Center offers an alternative learning experience for those that have struggled in the traditional learning environment. TLOC offers students the opportunity to complete high school and graduate with a diploma.

Discover Your Opportunities

Students will engage in interesting and rigorous coursework through Edgenuity, add flexibility to their schedule, and gain experience with online classes in a supportive environment. The school is open to any student in the state of Michigan.

Based on learning effectiveness, enrolled students can attend in person on specific days, but may not be required to do so. Additional in-person days are available for those that request them.

For students committed to academic performance, The Laker Opportunity Center will enable you to earn your high school diploma entirely from home.

In-Person

Need additional learning support? Cohorts meet 2-3 days a week or more to achieve your academic goals. Online coursework and lessons can be completed at home on off-site days.
