WB Drama Classes

Drama 1 (9-12 grade): This course is a semester-long beginning level drama class for students of all grade levels. The content of this class includes ensemble building, improvisation, monologues, and scene work. Students will play fun games, create original characters, write their own scripts, perform in class, build up confidence and speaking skills, and enjoy being part of a creative, supportive group of unique individuals.

Drama 2 (9-12 grade): This course is a semester-long intermediate level drama class for students of all grade levels. Prior experience with drama is highly recommended for this class. Students will build upon previously learned skills to portray compelling, dynamic characters and more complex scenes. A focus on movement, diction, and script analysis will be an additional element of this class. This class culminates in a student driven one act play.

Advanced Drama (10-12 grade): This year-long course is a rigorous, introductory college drama class for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students are selected for the class through auditioning, and based on teacher discretion. Students will partake in advanced level training and acting techniques which can be applied to auditions at the amateur and professional level. Students will also be exposed to a variety of different script genres and undertake in-depth script and character analysis. This class culminates in a full-fledged student-led production.
