ELEMENTARY
Offering #1 - Upper Elementary (Rising 4th Graders & Rising 5th Graders)

• Any rising 4th or rising 5th grade student within the district is eligible to participate and sign up.

• Course Description: Rising 4th and 5th graders will have the opportunity to be a part of a mixed grade level class where they will have the opportunity to grow their math and literacy skills with the support and guidance of a highly certified West Bloomfield teacher. 

• Cost: 

  • $250

  • $250/class for Credit Advancement and/or Grade Improvement  - see the list of offerings below

• Duration: July 8th-July 24th (no school on Thursday, July 4th)

• Time/Day: Monday-Thursdays, 9-11 am 

• Class size is limited!  Be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible by filling out this form by April 26th. Once staffing is complete, you will receive an email notification in late May/early June to register and submit payment for your summer school courses.  

Offering #2 - Rising 1st Graders, 2nd Graders, and 3rd Graders 

• Course Description: Targeted rising 1st through 3rd graders will be invited to attend small group instruction to accelerate growth in math and literacy.  Invitations will be sent at the end of April.  If you are interested in this opportunity because your student is below grade level in math or reading, please contact amy.quinn@wbsd.org. 

• Duration: July 8th-July 24th (no school on Thursday, July 4th)

• Time/Day: Monday-Thursdays, 9-11 am
