Mrs. Lindsy Krauser

I am originally from Westland and now reside in White Lake. I graduated from The University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) with a double major of English and Political Science in 2005. After working for several years and getting married, I returned to school at Western Governors University to earn my teaching certification. I graduated from my Post-Baccaleurate program in 2010 and received my Masters in Learning and Technology in 2016.

I began my teaching career as a substitute mostly in Walled Lake and Plymouth/Canton school districts. In 2011, I began teaching at Bradford Academy in Southfield. I taught classes in E2020, African American Literature, Creative Writing, ACT English, Civics, and Economics. In 2013, I started at WBHS in the English and Social Studies departments. While at WBHS, I taught classes in College Essay Writing, Multicultural Literature, Civics, Genocide, US History, and Economics. In 2015, I moved buildings and began my current position at Oakland Early College in both the English and Social Studies departments. At OEC I have taught classes in World History, Civics, Economics, American Literature, and Focus 11. The community at OEC is by far the most amazing part of our school.

On top of being a school teacher, I have been teaching dance (at a few different studios) for approximately 20 years. I truly enjoy seeing joy in the face of a student who has finally mastered a new task, whether it is academically or in an extracurricular activity. My crowning achievement thus far in my life came in 2013 and again in 2015. My kids challenge and amaze me every day.
