Ms. Noelle Borst
Hello! My name is Noelle Borst and I am excited to be part of the Abbott Middle School Special
Education Team. I have been teaching students with Severe Emotional Impairments for 11 years in
various environments (totally self-contained center based program, elementary program with the goal
of integration and a Middle School program with the goal of student integration). I have a bachelor degree in Social Work from Western Michigan and a Masters degree in Education from New York University with a focus in mental health. I currently hold endorsements in Emotional Impairments, Learning Disabilities, Cognitive Impairments and General Education. Teaching kids the skills they need to be successful socially and academically in all environments has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I consider myself an advocate for kids and their families and pride myself on developing long-lasting relationships built on open communication and trust. I am married to an amazing husband, Craig, and together we have two boys, Milo (6yrs.) and Olin (3yrs). I am a life long learner who loves reading, outdoors, fishing and spending time with my family.
