Our Children’s Fund meets emergency needs and provides resources to help ensure that every student in the West Bloomfield School District is able to participate in academic and enrichment activities.
The Steering Committee wishes to thank all of our schools, staff, students, parent organizations, and individuals who have contributed generously to ensure that Our Children’s Fund can continue providing necessities to students and their families throughout the school year. Our Children’s Fund is able to supply backpacks, school supplies and clothing as well financial assistance for summer school classes and academic enrichment. Through donations to the WB/KH Blessing in a Backpack program, food is also provided. 100% of all contributions are used to help students and families in need.
Every year students in our schools take on projects that raise money for Our Children’s Fund. We thank all of our students and schools for their continued generosity and fundraising efforts. We also would like to encourage all of our school and parent organizations to continue their fundraising efforts. Donations in any amount are always appreciated. We hope the upcoming school year will bring many more classroom/schoolbased projects where our students can learn about helping others as well as the joy in giving back to their community and supporting a wonderful cause. Individual donations and tributes are also welcome and appreciated!
Our Children’s Fund tribute cards are available year-round at all West Bloomfield Schools for a minimum contribution of $5.00. They are great to have on hand when you want to acknowledge someone special or a special occasion.
