West Bloomfield Schools’ maintenance, grounds and custodial staff uses SchoolDude’s “Maintenance Direct” to respond to work orders completed by any WBSD staff member. Online work orders are submitted and tracked from any internet location with assurance that it is routed to the appropriate staff for response. Requests for work to be performed must be submitted through the SchoolDude Maintenance Direct System.
Work Orders are excellent for entering requests of the following:
- Custodial issues ( room not vacuumed, dispensers not filled on a regular basis)
- Lights not working
- Heating and cooling issues
- Roof leaks
- General maintenance (blinds are not working, pencil sharpener needs to be replaced, marker board needs to be hung, etc.)
- Delivery of equipment, chairs, risers, and tables
This procedure applies to all District employees requiring Facilities and Maintenance work. This procedure does not apply to computer, printer, or telephone related issues which should be directed to the IT Department.
