The West Bloomfield School District welcomes members of the media into our schools and strives to provide the most accurate and timely information available. It is our goal to partner with the local media to tell the wonderful stories of learning and achievement taking place in our buildings.

FILMING ON CAMPUS

If you would like to visit a school or the district office, please contact Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator Rebecca Fannon at (248) 865-6454 or via e-mail at rebecca.fannon@wbsd.org. Please be prepared to outline the nature of your request and a few dates and times that work with your schedule.

PHOTOGRAPHING STUDENTS AND STAFF

Some students choose not to be photographed. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) allows students and parents to opt out of the release of certain information about students, including photographs, and the West Bloomfield School District operates in compliance with this law. Before we can allow anyone to take photos, video and/or quotes from our students, a school administrator or the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator must confirm.
