Public Relations
The Public Relations Department coordinates public information regarding the school district. This includes publications, press releases, media relations, marketing, electronic communication, supervising WBTV Channel 19, and maintaining the District website. The intent of the Public Relations Department is to keep our parents and the general public properly informed of school district activities.

We would love to hear about your events and activities including awards, honors, good deeds, and accomplishments. Rebecca joined the WBSD team as the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator in the fall of 2023. She has spent over 20 years in school public relations and marketing, working at both Intermediate School District (ISD) and local school district levels. She is also on the statewide board of the Michigan School Public Relations Association. Her goal is to elevate our community's visibility and engagement to new heights. Her passion for fostering meaningful connections and her dedication to promoting our educational values align seamlessly with our mission and vision.

Andrea Frank is the Coordinator of Enrichment and Recreation at WBSD. Ms. Frank started her career in Education in 2019. Prior to that, Ms. Frank worked as the Manager of Events and Marketing for the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber for 10 years. She also planned events for a corporate law firm located inside Ford Field in Detroit. A lifelong Michigander, Ms. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing from Wayne State University and a Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University. She loves serving the community, planning events, and making people laugh.
Ms. Frank spearheads WBSD K-7 Math Pentathlon, K-8 Robotics, K-5 After the Bell, Summer Camp, social media, website, and special events.
