Watson elected to WBHS Coaches HOF

The West Bloomfield School District Athletic Department recently recognized another member of their prestigious coaching fraternity when Pat Watson, WBHS principal, was elected to the West Bloomfield High School Coaches Hall of Fame earlier this fall. Mr. Watson is the eighth member of this illustrious group of coaches and educators who dedicated years of service to the student-athletes of the West Bloomfield School District.

In 1995, Mr. Watson’s unwavering devotion to athletics led him to accept an impressive three coaching positions at West Bloomfield High School in one year. Mr. Watson would go on to coach a remarkable 47 individual teams at West Bloomfield High School during his tenure.

Eric Pierce, WBSD athletic director, said, “We cannot express the level of gratitude we have for all of Coach Watson’s contributions to the history of West Bloomfield Athletics.  He has truly made a positive impact in the lives of the thousands of students he has interacted with throughout his tenure in education.”
