We understand the challenges of managing your child’s Cloud Learning experience, finding a balance between work and home responsibilities and feeling alone in this journey.
Today we did our March and April birthday celebration virtually. We ate lunch, played 2 truths & a lie, Simon Says, and had lots of laughs. Glad we still get to connect and celebrate. #wbinthecloud #wbrelationshipscount #roosevelt2020 @TeachCarroll @BreMassie_in3rd pic.twitter.com/vC395ZOrlA— Sage Wood (@STeaching3rd) April 17, 2020
Zoom Meetings || we decided to make our own dance so we can “dance it out” at the end of each meeting. Creating a space every morning that students look forward to in their day is more important now than ever. @SheikoSharks #wbinthecloud #WBrelationshipscount pic.twitter.com/lfJSa9SEH0— Ashley Moss 🌻 (@grateful_moss) April 10, 2020
Class of 2020
Seniors, we know you have a lot of questions as we face these uncertain times. Just know that we are with you and we will do everything we can to make sure your final year in West Bloomfield is everything you hoped it would be.
Educators in West Bloomfield have determined ways to help kids participate in learning outside of the classroom. Students in West Bloomfield will have the chance to show what they know via the cloud.
For instruction at the elementary level, our Teaching and Learning teams have been hard at work on assembling meaningful instructional resources for students, including Bridges math workplaces, “just right” books and more. These resources are meant to enhance the Cloud learning experience. For our K-2 families, the resources will also include login information for our Google platform and PowerSchool.
We will be transitioning our teaching and learning online through Cloud Learning. It is our goal each day to do what is best for kids and we believe keeping the pathways to education open for our students fall directly in line with that objective. All classes will be held through Google Classroom. You should have received an invitation to join your child’s classes today - please accept that invitation to monitor your child’s progress. If you or your child need help accessing the Google platform, visit www.wbsd.org for technology assistance.
