EL Skills Block Family Resources
Use the table below to access helpful resources for EL Education Skills Block. The first row shows all of the phases of foundational reading that students are expected to master by the end of second grade. The second row provides links to the family letters that include an overview of what students will learn throughout the year AND how you can help at home. The third row provides links to the family letters that highlight the specific microphase that a student is trying to master within small group instruction. The fourth row shows which microphase a student is expected to be at any given part of the school year in order to be reaching grade level expectations.
