Sinking Fund
In May 2013, voters in the West Bloomfield School District approved a 14-year, 1.25 mill levy Building and Site Sinking Fund (BSSF). The Building and Site Sinking Fund provides critical dollars to help maintain and protect the school district’s investment in facilities. Based on taxable values, the 1.25-mill levy is expected to generate approximately $2.1 million in revenue this school year. The projects that were approved by the WBSD Board of Education for this year have been taking shape this summer and will be completed for the start of school.
